To ensure the exposure and return on the products we are establishing to assist indigenous communities, LEMCO will be branding products in conjunction with the sustainable principles we employ as a firm. Therefore, we will be branding the products derived from our sustainable crop yields to demonstrate how profits will assist in improving the livelihoods of community members in the developing economies where we are operating. Through our branding efforts, we want to draw attention to the benefits being received by indigenous populations as a result of our firm. Additionally, our branding efforts will focus on how indigenous populations are a 25% stakeholder in our company, which will result in both communal and individual benefits.
LEMCO is seeking to create an identity synonymous with sustainable livelihoods and practices. By having our philosophy guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we seek to be synonymous with fair and equitable trade that employs safeguards to prevent the mistreatment of people and resources and to eradicate the misappropriation of funds.
In addition to branding the products derived from indigenous participation, we will also be branding a blockchain initiative to add value to our land banking initiatives and will be creating a loyalty platform to reward consumers of LEMCO affiliated products. Through branding, we will be emphasising the benefits of our products, as opposed to those of our competitors.
Our advertising and distribution channels will align with our brand strategy and result in brand equity to ensure our consumers relate LEMCO with sustainable practices.
In summary, the branding strategy employed by LEMCO will demonstrate:
- how we function as a sustainable development firm,
- the products we support to provide maximum return to stakeholders, which includes the indigenous,
- where the products are farmed and manufactured and how this creates a new local economy,
- how long it takes for livelihood impacts to occur,
- and the populations being affected by the purchase or support of our products.
